Alisha Liston

Alisha Liston is a teenage singer, songwriter, actress and circus artist who was born and raised in Southern California.  Alisha has been singing for as long as she can remember; and music has always been her go to.  While Alisha started writing music as soon as she could hold a pencil, it wasn’t until her pre-teen years did she decide to start releasing it.  There just isn’t enough out there addressing the challenges of that age group, she thought.

Alisha’s influences come from all genres which can be heard throughout her work.  Stylistically, Alisha loves painting pictures with vivid lyrics and pairing it with a very ethereal, emotional delivery to enhance the experience for her audience.  Recently, she enjoys exploring abstract fantastical motifs through the creation of detailed wonderlands and enchanted characters’ using fictional metaphors as storytelling components.  She journals her growth and experiences through melodic poems and surreal metaphors, reminding us that the tribulations we face are an important part of our journey and ourselves, as difficult as they may be.

Alisha hopes for her music to bring comfort and encouragement, and above all, provide a sense of unconditional love and belonging.
